Mary D. recently completed the Certificate in Medical Assistant program and is continuing her education so that she can get her associate degree. She was also hired from externship and is currently working for a medical office.
Charter Success (CS): What did you do before Charter College and why did you decide to come back to school?
Marie C. recently graduated from Charter College in the Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice program. She talks about her challenges of being homeless with three children while attending school. She completed her associate degree and is now working on her bachelor degree. She is also employed in her field.
Catherine was a member of the National Ski Patrol and had worked as a professional ski guide for 15 years. She was also married with four children and took waitressing jobs during the off season. When she learned, through commercials, that Charter College had opened their Wasilla campus, she enrolled in the medical assistant program.
When Birgit was nine years old, people would love to have her babysit their kids. Though her mother was in the next room, she would be babysitting on her own when she turned 12. Birgit had always wanted to work with children in the medical field.

On a Wednesday night after work, Sadie V. came into the Charter College campus and met with her former dental assisting instructor to review procedures for her upcoming RDA exam. Sadie had graduated from our dental assisting program in 2012 and has work for three dental offices since then.
